Obituary for Ruth Taylor

Ruth Vianna Taylor, 97 of Jerome, Idaho, passed away March 8, 2017 at the home of her oldest son, Archie and his wife Anna May Geren in Florence, Colorado, where she lived and maintained her own home for nearly 5 years.
She is survived by 3 sons, Archie (Anna May), Lester (Suzanne), Deryl (Laurie), as well as step-sons Jerry (Janet) Taylor, Jim (Dora) Taylor, Jesse (Shannon) Taylor, Jeremy (Kim) Taylor and Billy (Britton) Taylor. Ruth had many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind a great friend, Theo Fife, of Jerome, Idaho.
She was a Mom and Grandma to three families. She married and survived three husbands: Sherman Geren, Kenneth Buhl, and Hugh Taylor, after lovingly caring for all three until they parted in death. She experienced many hardships in life, but through it all, she remained positive. She was a great Mom, Grandma and friend. She met everyone as a friend and loved her family and friends dearly. She was an excellent cook, seamstress, quilter, crocheter, gardener, gin player and fisherman. She loved to laugh. She will be missed dearly. If there is a fishing hole in heaven, hers will be the first line in the water.
Burial will be at a later date in Buhl, Idaho. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Holt Family Funeral Home in Canon City, Colorado and Hove-Robertson Funeral Home in Jerome, Idaho.
